Hello CSA and Friends of Shalom Orchard,

I am happy to report that, with the recent cooperation of the weather gods, we will be able to start the 2006 CSA pickups on Saturday, July 1, from 3:00 to 5:30 PM.  We will also celebrate the new season and summer with a tasting of Jim’s wines.  We are looking forward to meeting the new folks and seeing everyone from last year!!

We hope to have available for pickup:  salad mix, radishes, beet greens, Napa cabbage, broccoli, scallions, eggs, and chicken (whole and quartered).  The peas are blooming but I don’t think they will be ready to pick by then.

The following pickup will be Wed., July 5, from 3:00 to 5:30 PM.  Later today I will send out the prices and phone # for the Bangor and MDI groups.
