Dear CSA and Friends of Shalom Orchard,

I am back from spending a week with all my grandkids, and most especially, my newest grandchild, Liam, who is two weeks old today. It was a wonderful week and I want to thank Sarah for shouldering the work singlehandedly!! She did a great job!

There will be a break in the CSA until Wed., Oct. 14. We will be making cider the weekend before so we will have one final pickup that will include cider and fall veggies.

A reminder: We have turkeys for Thanksgiving!! Now is the time reserve the number you want. They will be available, fresh, just before Thanksgiving.

It looks like very few of you can make the Harvest Dinner, so we will not be having it this year. We are sorry for the disappointment for those who could come!

We have other processed products and yarn for sale. Our CSA members, the Muise family, have put some of their own maple syrup in our store for sale.

Any of our farm products can count toward your share. Harmony Mill Farm products and Muise’s Maple are purchased separately.

Of course, our wines are always available, but can’t count toward your share, as wines cannot be prepaid. Jim has some new selections available this season!!
